Citrine Bead
Citrine is a mineral whose name refers to a lemon, as its colour resembles this yellow fruit (its Latin name is citrina). As the natural citrine is quite rare, it is often made by heat-treating from amethyst. The highest quality raw material is from mines in the city of Maraba in Goiás, Brazil. If we look at its chemical structure, citrine is a yellow variety of quartz.
