Agate Pink Botswana Tumbled Pendant
Pink agates boast characteristic pink colours and an opaque, milky look. The stones cannot be found in mines – they are collected on the surface, in an area of around three hundred square kilometres in southern Botswana. If we look at its chemical structure, pink agate from Botswana is a variety of chalcedony – a general name for fibrous, cryptocrystalline quartz.
