Aragonite

Aragonite is an excellent stone for both its processing and design. If we look at aragonite's chemical structure it is calcium carbonate. The stone´s typical shades are white, green, yellow-green or brown. Our stones come from Pakistan. The specificity of Pakistani aragonite is alternating striping with strong contrasts.

Stone´s uniqueness: It is a very fragile stone requiring only hand polish; that is why the price of tumbled stones is a bit higher.

Special conditions/ treatment: Aragonite is very delicate and can be easily etched by all acids. It needs special handling as sharp objects may damage it.
