Aragonite Cut
If we look at aragonite's chemical structure it is calcium carbonate. The stone´s typical shades are green, yellow-green, white or brown. Our stones come from Pakistan. The specificity of Pakistani aragonite is alternating striping with strong contrasts.
Aragonite uniqueness: Aragonite is an excellent stone for both its processing and design. It is a very fragile stone requiring only hand polish.
Special conditions/ treatment: Aragonite is very delicate and can be easily etched by all acids. It needs special handling as sharp objects may damage it.
About the product: Cut and polished pieces of aragonite - with one side being flat and smooth. The size of slices ranges approx. between 4 and 10 cm and their thickness 1 - 2 cm. This product is available in a 10 kg economy package (cardboard box).
