Transparent white calcites are noted for their striking double refraction, which occurs thanks to the single crystals. It is a very fragile and fissile stone, which requires individual, manual processing and faceting. This piece is from China.

About the product: Crystals of calcite has been smoothed out into blocks of various sizes - approx. between 5 and 7 cm. We offer this product only in a package with weight approx. 0.9 - 1.3 kg. The pieces of calcite are sealed in a firm plastic film.
