Chalkopyrite M12
Chalcopyrite is a a major ore of copper. It is common in sulfide veins and disseminated in igneous rocks. It contains copper, iron and sulphur. It is a colourful mineral with shades from brass yellow to blue and purple with a metallic lustre. Its various colours are caused by a constant oxidation of the mineral and also by presence of other minerals like pyrite and covellin. Our rough material comes from Mexico.

About the product: The box contains 12 small rough stones with size approx. 3 - 4.5 cm. The box "small" contains smaller druses with size approx. 2.5 - 4 cm. The box is packed into a transparent stretch cling, which prevents it from damage.
