Jasper Shell
Shell jasper, which is not a jasper at all, comes from China. The Chinese use this trade name for a variety of limestone, which contains tiny little shells of sea creatures.
Shell Jasper uniqueness: Shell jasper is highly popular for its decorative patterns created by tiny little shells of sea animals.
Special conditions/ treatment: Shell jasper is not stable against any acids.

They are also suitable for mineralogist collections and exhibitions. Rough minerals may also be further processed, e.g. small crystals are ideal material for pendants.
