Jaspers are famous for their colour diversity thanks to a big portion of admixtures in their structure. They are a variety of chalcedony, which is a generic name for fibrous cryptocrystalline quartz. This piece is from South Africa.
Zebra Jasper uniqueness: Zebra jasper stands out with striking brown-red-shaded patterns similar to zebra skin. The brown colour of this stone is influenced by iron ochres, which, together with its sandstone structure, are the reason why zebra jaspers need to be manually processed and polished.
Special conditions/ treatment: Please do not use chemical detergents or salt solutions to clean zebra jasper as it may lose its lustre.
About the product: We offer big tumbled stones in size XXL+ and Jumbo. Under size XXL+ we classify stones with weight up to 150 g, Jumbo stones are above 150 g. Both variants are available only in 5 kg package.
