Kyanite Box
Kyanite usually comes in blue tones, which gave this stone its name (the Greek word kýanos means blue). However, other shades of white, green, yellow or pink often occur as well. Kyanite is a quite common mineral used in jewellery or refractory and acid-resistant materials. This piece is from Brazil.
