Magnesite
White magnesite is emblematic of its snow-white foundation, grey veining patterns and a vitreous lustre. The mineral is not only popular in jewellery but also in industry – it is often used in clinker production or refractory materials. The raw material is from Zimbabwe. If we look at its chemical structure, magnesite is magnesium carbonate.
