Rock Crystal, Smoky Quartz Elestial Box

Rock crystal and smoky quartz are popular varieties of quartz. The "elestial" kind features a rare parallel crystal growth - one of the common patterns is a structure with many crystals intergrown side by side, all facing in the same direction and appearing to have melted into each other. In Brazil these specimens are often called a crocodile quartz, because of its resemblance to the bumps on the back of a crocodile. Elestial specimens are treasured both between collectors and healers. Minerals come from Brazil.
