These admixtures, next to irradiation, are responsible for smoky quartz’s colour. The deposits are in the Alps, Czechia or in Minas Gerais in Brazil. Our smoky quartz comes from the Brazil.
Smoky Quartz uniqueness: Smoky quartz can be transparent or translucent with a smoky brown colour. Sometimes, the colour can be patchy or “cloud-like”.
Special conditions/ treatment: There is no need for special handling with smoky quartz.
