Sunstone belongs to a group of feldspars. The most famous deposits are in the USA – in New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon or Virginia. This piece, however, is from Tanzania.
Sunstone uniqueness: Sunstone sparkles thanks to the goldish glitters - tiny particles of red hematite or copper.
Special conditions/ treatment: Sunstone is fragile, therefore it is prone to impact damage.
