Sunstone Translucent
Sunstone belongs to a group of feldspars. The most famous deposits are in the USA – in New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon or Virginia. This piece, however, is from Tanzania.
Stone´s uniqueness: Sunstone “shines bright like a diamond” thanks to the goldish glitters produced by small particles of red hematite or copper.
Special conditions/ treatment: Sunstone is fragile, therefore it is prone to impact damage.
Use: Mini tumbled stones (chips) are used for the production of various decorative items and ornamental mosaics. Size up to 5 mm is also suitable as filling for small glass bottles.
About the product: We offer this product in 1 kg or 5 kg package; some "chips" are available in both variants. The product is packed in firm plastic bags
