Tektite
Tektite is a rare mineral because it formed during the impact of a meteorite. The stone’s structure is usually glassy, often resembling natural glass, resp. obsidian. This piece is from China. Chinese tektite is noted for its opaque structures and black colour with a distinctive surface.
Use: Our rough stones can be both charming interior adornments and decorations for gardens. They are also suitable for mineralogist collections and exhibitions, or even for further processing.
