Aragonite Pink B

Aragonite is an excellent stone for both its processing and design. If we look at it´s chemical structure it is calcium carbonate. The stone´s typical shades are white, green, yellow-green, brown or pink. Our stones come from Pakistan. This variety of aragonite boasts a gentle pink shades - these are caused by a higher manganese content.

Stone´s uniqueness: It is a very fragile stone requiring only hand polish; that is why the price of tumbled stones is a bit higher.

Special conditions/ treatment: Aragonite is very delicate and can be easily etched by all acids. It needs special handling as sharp objects may damage it.
