In general, chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline variety of quartz. Depending on the type of its admixtures, we distinguish individual varieties of this stone. The most popular ones are agate, carnelian, onyx, heliotrope and jasper. This blue, lace chalcedony is from an area where Namibia borders with South Africa.

Chalcedony uniqueness: Blue lace chalcedony is unique for alternating its layers with quartz while creating an astonishing pattern resembling a lace. Unfortunately, old stocks of these stones are rapidly depleting without any prospects of new ones. Sadly, after several deadly incidents, the mines have been shut down.

Special conditions/ treatment: Chalcedony is a firm stone, stable against most acids.

About the product: The product is packed in firm plastic bags.
