Rock Crystal Specimen
Rock crystal is amongst the most expensive gemstones, which has been known to people since ancient times. If we look at its chemical structure, it is the purest, limpid variety of crystalline quartz.
Druses are aggregates of crystals on the surface of a rock or mineral. Points are big long crystals formed by erosion and desintegration of druses. Product "specimen" refers to both clusters of a few big crystal points with its druse partially or fully eroded away and classic druse-like formations with one or more dominant bigger crystal points. These specimens come from the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Druses from these deposits can be accompanied with chlorite inclusions, rock crystal phantoms or internal fissures exhibiting a rainbow effect.
Use: These mineral specimens can be charming interior decorations but also valuable pieces of your mineralogical collection.
About the product: We offer this product only in a 20 kg package (cardboard box with minerals carefully wrapped in paper). Package contains druses of various shapes and sizes - their weight ranges approximately from 0.1 to 0.8 kg. Due to the nature of the product, only a pallet shipping is possible.
