Shattuckite is noted for its striking blue colour. It is a copper silicate, which got its unusual name after Shattuck Mine in Arizona, where it was discovered in 1915. The stone’s deposits are in the USA, Argentina, Namibia or Congo. However, this piece is from Namibia.

Special conditions/ treatment: As shattuckite often occurs with other minerals (in paragenesis), we do not recommend cleaning it with chemical detergents.

Package weight: 1 a 25 kg

About the product: Small chips of rough stones have size approx. 7 - 15 mm. The minerals are sold in 1 kg bags, but we also offer a 25 kg package (carton box) for an advantageous price.
