Tiger´s Eye Blue
Blue tiger´s eye (sometimes also known as falcon´s eye) is quartz pervaded with parallel fibres of grey-blue to striking blue amphibole crocidolite. It occurs only in few deposits in the world with the Doorn Mountains in South Africa as the most famous ones. The stone catches one’s attention with its iridescent silky lustre, which emphasises the beautiful silky grey-blue colour of the stone. Blue tiger´s eye is often made into exclusive statuettes and jewellery.
