Dumortierite B

Dumortierite is quite rare, aluminium borosilicate mineral. You can find its variably coloured fibrous aggregates or solid masses shading from blue, purple, brown, to green-blue or light pink. These pieces are from mines in Mozambique.

Dumortierite uniqueness: Dumortierite’s signature blue to blue-grey colour makes it popular for small decorative objects and statuettes production.

Special conditions/ treatment: Please do not use chemicals to clean dumortierite as it is porous.
