Obsidian Silver
Obsidian alias volcanic glass. Obsidians are formed uniquely – during a rapid, hot lava cooling, e.g. in water or on the Earth’s surface. The process is so fast that the individual minerals do not have enough time to crystalize. This piece is from Mexico.
Stone´s uniqueness: Silver obsidian stands out with its grey-black colour and a striking, silver lustre influenced by tiny air bubbles and admixtures in the stone.
Special conditions/ treatment: Obsidian is stable against most acids. However, be careful when handling with the stone, as it is fragile.
About the product: The product is packed in firm plastic bags.
