Sunstone belongs to a group of feldspars. The most famous deposits are in the USA – in New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon or Virginia. This piece, however, is from Tanzania.
Sunstone uniqueness: Sunstone “shines bright like a diamond” thanks to the goldish glitters produced by small particles of red hematite or copper.
