Agate Moss
Moss agate can be found in the form of veins in calcite or granite. It is a variety of chalcedony, which is a generic name for fibrous cryptocrystalline quartz. Moss agate often includes other green minerals – mainly chlorite.
Agate uniqueness: Despite its inorganic origin, moss agate proudly resembles moss – thanks to a great many inclusions embedded in the stone. This agate comes in large pieces making it ideal for decorations.
Special conditions/ treatment: Agate is a very firm and compact stone, so there is no need for special handling.
